What a mechanical bull rental costs, and what it needs

Our mechanical bull is $1,500 for up to 3 hours, then $100 for each hour after that. Most of what we rent is priced for 6 hours, so the hours are the first number to settle.

A bull is a bigger booking than a bounce house, and it asks more of the site: two outlets, a 25 ft square and 10 ft of headroom. Each of those figures comes from the bull's own product page, and each one can rule out a spot.

The price, hour by hour

"The mechanical bull pricing of $1,500 is for 3 hours and $100 for each additional hour."

KidZone Party Rentals, Mechanical Bull page
  • Up to 3 hours: $1,500. A 1 or 2 hour booking is the same price.
  • 4 hours: $1,600.
  • 6 hours: $1,800.
  • 8 hours: $2,000.
  • 12 hours: $2,400.

That shape is different from a bounce house or a water slide, which our FAQ prices for a standard rental of up to 6 hours. A 6 hour party with the bull running the whole time is $1,800. If the ride only needs to cover the busiest stretch of the day, 3 or 4 hours keeps it at $1,500 or $1,600.

Setup and takedown are included in the rental price, and delivery is charged on top, based on the miles to your event location. The deposit is 50% of the order, on a credit card, and the rest is due at delivery.

Who runs it

The bull sits in our Mechanical Rides range, and that page says all carnival ride rentals come with KidZone Party Rentals attendants. The Mechanical Pumpkin page spells the same thing out for its ride: the rental includes all necessary equipment and trained staff to operate it.

The Mechanical Bull page describes a ride with speed controls that can accept riders of all ages, and says experienced riders, novice riders and people just watching all get something out of it.

Space, headroom and power

The bull's page gives three figures, and all three matter before you book.

  • 25 ft by 25 ft of space. The operating footprint is 20 by 20, and the space required is 25 by 25. Measure against the larger number.
  • 10 ft of headroom. The page lists it with the footprint, so check it against any ceiling, tree limb or tent roof the bull would sit under.
  • Two 110V outlets. Our FAQ asks for an outlet within 100 ft of the unit with nothing else plugged into it, so these are two outlets for the bull alone.

If you are thinking of putting the bull indoors, ask us first, and check the 10 ft against the lowest point over the whole 25 ft square, including lights and beams. The indoor setup guide covers what else a room raises.

For a park with no outlet, our generator is $250, and its page describes it as able to power up to 3 inflatables. That page is written for inflatables, so ask about power for the bull when you book a park.

The two other mechanical rides

The bull has two siblings, and both are priced the same way: one price for up to 3 hours, then $100 for each hour after.

The Mechanical Pumpkin is $1,750 for up to 3 hours and $2,050 for 6. Its page describes it for fall festivals, Halloween parties and other autumn events, with adjustable speeds for riders of all ages and skill levels, and says it can be used both indoors and outdoors. Its actual size is 15 ft by 15 ft and 10 ft high, on two outlets. In October, it is the seasonal option.

The Toxic Inferno Meltdown is $1,595 for up to 3 hours. It is a different kind of ride: a 30 ft by 30 ft octagon inflatable with 8 podiums for players to stand and jump on, and our team speeds the ride up or slows it down for the group. It needs 40 ft by 40 ft, with 10 ft of height, on two outlets. With 8 podiums, it takes a group at a time rather than one rider, which suits a school or youth event.

A themed pairing

Our corporate events page suggests one combination directly:

"Our mechanical bull and Western shootout can create a themed event that your guests will remember forever."

KidZone Party Rentals, Corporate Event Rentals page

The Western Shootout is $495 for up to 6 hours. Players fire soft foam balls at each other, up to 20 ft, inside an inflatable battle arena, and it needs 15 ft by 35 ft. Four hours of the bull with the Shootout is $2,095 before delivery. Plan the ground for both: 25 by 25 for the bull and 15 by 35 for the Shootout.

Where the real answer lives

The product page is the authority for the ride you want, and prices change. When you ask for a quote, say how many hours the ride needs to run, whether it is indoors or out, and where the nearest two outlets are.

Common questions

How much does it cost to rent a mechanical bull?

Our mechanical bull is $1,500 for up to 3 hours, and $100 for each hour after that. Four hours is $1,600, 6 hours is $1,800 and 12 hours is $2,400. Setup and takedown are included, and delivery is charged on top, based on the miles to your event location.

Does the mechanical bull come with an operator?

Our Mechanical Rides page, where the bull is listed, says all carnival ride rentals come with KidZone Party Rentals attendants. The Mechanical Pumpkin page says the same in more detail: its rental includes all necessary equipment and trained staff to operate the ride.

How much space does a mechanical bull need?

The bull's page lists an operating footprint of 20 ft by 20 ft with 10 ft of headroom, and a space required of 25 ft by 25 ft. Measure against the 25 by 25 figure, and if the bull is going under a ceiling or a tent, check that it clears 10 ft.

What power does a mechanical bull need?

The bull's page lists two 110V outlets. Our FAQ asks that the unit is within 100 ft of a 110V outlet and that nothing else is plugged into the outlet being used, so plan for two outlets that are free for the bull alone.

Who can ride the mechanical bull?

The bull's page says it has speed controls and can accept riders of all ages, and that it suits experienced riders, novice riders and people who just want to watch. The Mechanical Pumpkin page also lists adjustable speeds for riders of all ages and skill levels.

What other mechanical rides do you rent?

Two. The Mechanical Pumpkin is $1,750 for up to 3 hours, is described for fall festivals and Halloween parties, and works indoors and outdoors. The Toxic Inferno Meltdown is $1,595 for up to 3 hours: a 30 ft by 30 ft octagon inflatable with 8 podiums for players to stand and jump on, and it needs 40 ft by 40 ft of space.

Every price, size and requirement on this page was read from our own product pages and FAQ on September 30, 2026. Our catalog changes, so the individual product page is the current authority for the ride you want.
